It can be really effective though overuse of the panning can lead to viewers feeling a little sea sick.

Windows 7: Freeing up system disk spaceIn the past, I've normally allowed 50GB for Windows installation partitions, whether server or desktop versions. Putting pagefile and hibernation files on other physical disks. When installing IIS, SQL Server or Exchange, data and log files get spread across different disks too.
