A showcase of some of our best work.

Groyne Art

Groyne Art

Victorian groynes were originally designed as a method of preventing the tide from washing away the sand from popular beaches. Each groyne is a different length from its neighbour to affect the ebb and flow of the sea. Some groynes have strange coloured uprights at their furthest extent into the sea to warn boats of their presence at high tide.

This gallery is a collection of views of these strange wooden structures.

Views of a pier

Piers were once a feature of many English seaside resorts. Most were built during the victorian age, when Britain exported the bulk of the world's steel. Many piers have proved costly to maintain and their numbers are dwindling with each passing year.

This is a collection of some of the best pier shots with a wide range of compositions and different lighting conditions.

The Beach

The Beach

There must be very few of us who do not have childhood memories of beaches, whether it be day trips, family holidays or simply where you lived. Sun, sea, sand and the occasional ice cream form part of those memories. With UK and EU regulation, many beaches are cleaner than ever before and still attract large crowds on public holidays.

This collection attempts to capture the essence of those days out.
